Manufacturing Jobs

Labor that uses machines and/or tools to produce goods for use or sale is defined as a manufacturing job. Usually a variety of raw materials are used as inputs to produce finished goods on a large scale. Some of these manufactured goods are used as components to create other finished goods; like parts of an airplane, which arrive in sections, and are assembled on a shop floor. Chemicals, electronics, construction, energy, and telecommunications infrastructure are just some examples of goods-producing industries that create manufacturing jobs.
