As part of the launch, Higher Purpose Gifts hired 13 employees, who are either currently enrolled in or have graduated from the Notre Dame College Prep’s Burke Scholar Program, an inclusive education experience designed to help folks dealing with the challenge of a disability advance their education in a supportive values-based learning environment.
Prior to the launch, Higher Purpose Gifts has been actively involved in the community to support local initiatives and raise awareness about their business and the employability of people with cognitive and physical disabilities. More recently, the Higher Purpose Gifts team was able to share its products with the community and help to sponsor the annual Regina Dominican High School Athletic Program Golf Outing on September 29, 2017. The event brought the community and employees together for an enjoyable day.
